0 How to use Facebook Comments for WordPress Posts

Due to huge attacks of spam comments in WordPress, most of the bloggers hate default comments system of WordPress and they look forward for the alternatives like CommentLuv, disqus or facebook comments. In today’s article we learn how to replace default comment system of WordPress with Facebook comment system because almost all the users well familiar with Facebook and it attracts the users to write comments. So let’s start.

How to Embed Facebook Comment System in WordPress

Using Facebook comments system in WP is very easy, I will guide you step by step below.

Step 1 : (Install Plugin)

First of all, Install a plugin in your WordPress i.e Facebook Comments and activate it.

Step 2 : (Setting-up Plugin)

Now Open this Plugin Setting Page and Enter “Facebook App ID”.
For example Your Facebook App ID is 676423275719557

Step 3 : (Getting Your Facebook App ID)

To get your Facebook app Id, Just login to your Facebook account and go to this link  . Now Click on the “Register as a Developer” from the top right side. After register click on tocreate new App.
Now you see a form, write your App name like ‘comments’, and app namespace as shown below :
Note : Your App name space should be unique
Create Facebook application

After filling form, press continue, write captcha code and press continue again, that’s it, now you can get your App Id as shown below :

Copy App Id code and paste it in the above installed plugin setting page in your WP and Click on save button.
Congratulation. You are successfully integrated FB comments in your WP. Now you can see Facebook comment box on the bottom of every post.

Step 4 : (Disable default Comments of WordPress)

In the last step we disable default WordPress comments in our blog. To do this task simply install another plugin called Disable Comments and activate it. Go to Settings > Disable Comments and select first option i.e “Everywhere” as shown below in screen shot:

That is enough, now relax and see how this plugin works and disable all default comments fields from your website.
