0 How to Receive a Wire Transfer in Pakistan?

Paypal is something, but it’s not everything. There are many international payment options out there for Pakistani users. If you ever wanted to get a payment from an online company then you can use several options to receive your payments such asPayoneer in Pakistan and Payments Methods Explained Here. But today, I’ll be telling you a different story, which is how to get your payment via Wire Transfer in Pakistanjust within 5 working days.
wire-transfer-new

What’s Wire Transfer?

Instead of telling you myself about what’s Wire Transfer, I’m quoting the Wikipedia’s explanation on this here:
Wire transfer, bank transfer or credit transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer from one person or entity to another. A wire transfer can be made from one bank account to another bank account or through a transfer of cash at a cash office.
So yes, it’s that simple thing. Any bank from anywhere in the world can send you a Wire Transfer and as I mentioned in the first paragraph, you’ll receive it within 5 working days in Pakistan.

How it Works?

I recently had to receive a Wire Transfer from one of the US Banks, I wanted to receive it in my UBL bank account which is just a normal current account. The company needed my IBAN (International Bank Account Number), SWIFT Code and other details such as Bank Name, Address etc. I found the online link of UBL Bank where I converted my normal account number to IBAN, and then added that to the company website, and I got the SWIFT code from my account manager. The rest details I added were also attached with my account.
This was very simple process, and after 5 working days, I received the payment straight in my UBL account. I wanted to share this method with you so whenever you see a Wire Transfer option then don’t worry, that will arrive in your Bank Account without any hassle. Secondly, do provide the exact details of your account, because any small mistake can create delays in processing.

How Much it Cost?

The cost for an International Wire Transfer is only $20 dollars per transaction. Any amount which is less than $5000 will cost you only and only $20, if the amount is greater than that then you should receive it in separate transactions. Furthermore, the conversion rate to local currency depends on the market of that day, and the conversion rate might make you sad sometimes, but don’t worry, that’s not too much PAIN.
You can also receive your payments via eCheck, but that’s not very easy to deposit in your local currency account, that will require you to open a Bank Account either in US Dollars or Euros and then you’ll be able to deposit that eCheck into your account, and the fee is higher, also the processing time is longer.
Have you ever received Wire Transfer or eCheck from any bank around the world while you are staying in Pakistan? if so then do share your experience in the comment section, if you have any question related to this post then also post your question in the discussion below. I’ll be glad to answer your queries. Thanks for reading!

0 How to Add Related Posts Widget with Thumbnails to Blogger

Do you know related posts can be used to make consistent readers? You might feel confused how. So let me clear it for you.
Suppose a visitor has come to your blog from search engines. He will look for his prospective areas. Here in this case the visitor will possibly leave after reading it.
But if you can serve related post links besides the main content, the visitor will feel very much interested to check them. Their intention was to solve the problems. So anything related will be regarded by them.
This is the main concept how related contents help to make visitors consistent. There are further more advantages as the following:
  • Related posts reduces bounce rate.
  • It can convert search traffic into regular traffic.
  • It dramatically improves the conversation rate.
  • It drives seo value to the internal pages.
how to add related posts in blogger
That’s why, your blogger blog also needs this feature. But unfortunately Blogger doesn’t have it in default.
Not sure why Google hasn’t included it yet. But whatever we can’t lose this superb opportunity.
There are several ways to add them. Let me show you the quickest and the easiest ways to add related posts in no time. It took less than 3 minutes for me.

Method #1: Add related posts using LinkWithin

LinkWithin is a pretty service to show related stories. It doesn’t require sign-up, easy to install and provides elegant designs with minimal coding.
Their objective is not to get passed the old articles. Instead, leverage old articles to drive some additional views without any additional effort.
Most amazingly it is free of cost. You don’t even need to invest a single penny to use it. So let’s get back to the process.
Step 1: Go to linkwithin homepage
Simply head over to http://www.linkwithin.com/. You’ll be able to see a form to generate it.
Now input your details such as email, blog link and platform (blogger in your case).
The width is defined to choose how many stories you will show. 3 stories in default means it will show 3 most related stories in a row. You can increase it up to 5.
There is a check-box to define if your blog has a dark background. That’s mean it will show light texts (ex: white) while ticked. But if your design doesn’t have any dark background, just leave it unchecked.
If everything is done, click the “Get Widget!” button.
linkwithin form
Step #2: Install the widget
Now you’ll see a documentation how does it work. You can follow it up as explained. Though I’m gonna show you here step by step.
Click the “Install Widget” button while logged into your blogger account.
install widget
You will be taken to the widget adder page. If you’ve multiple blogs on blogger, choose your preferred one. When you’re done, click add widget button.
select blog
Now a new block will be added along the widgets. Simply drag and drop it underneath “Blog Posts”. Then finally click “Save arrangement”.
You can put the block anywhere, even in widget area. But for optimal performance, it should be added under the posts.
N.B: It will need a few hours for indexation in the third party website. So you will need to wait before seeing related contents live.
drag under posts

Method #2: Add related posts using OutBrain

OutBrain provides very much flexible related posts service. It offers to show them as texts or thumbnails.
It’s also free of cost and could be added instantly. But it will require users to sign up though it is very easy. Let me guide you how to add this very easily.
Step #1: Go to outbrain widget page
You need to head over to https://my.outbrain.com/getwidget. The form will appear to generate the widget.
First, you need to choose how you want the stories to appear. There are two options, (1) as simple textual links (2) links with thumbnails. Click your preferred one.
text or thumbnail
Then you’ve to choose your platform. Same as before, you should select blogger.
choose platform
Next, you’ve to fill a short form in order to complete the registration. Input the correct information for all required fields. When you’re done, tick the check-box to accept terms and conditions and click “Install”.
Then check your email account to confirm the sign up.
complete registration
Step #2: Install the widget
After you click the install button, a pop up will appear to add the widget. Make sure you’re logged into your blogger account.
Choose your preferred blog from the drop-down and click “Add Widget”.
add outbrain widget
Now same as the previous method, a new block will be aligned between the widgets. You need to drag and drop the block underneath the “Blog Posts” element for optimal performance.
Are you done? Click the “Save arrangement” button to finalize the changes.
N.B: It will need a few hours for indexation in the third party website. So you will need to wait before seeing related contents live.
save outbrain arrangement

Conclusion!

In this post, I tried to show how to add related posts in blogger blog. I’ve showed you two different methods. But both of them are trusted and tested by myself.
Here one is another’s alternative. So you can choose your preferred related post service. If you face any unexpected problem, don’t forget to let us know here. I’ll try my best to solve it.

0 H2 & Missing H1 Tags in Blogger Posts Titles

Optimize Headline Tags h1 and h2 in BloggerMost Blogger blogs are poorly optimized when it comes to Headline tags which includes H1, H2 and H3 either because newbie publishers are implementing wrong SEO techniques by reading unauthentic articles across the web or may be because they are using a custom template which may look quite attractive when it comes to User interface (UI) but they are the worst when it comes to Optimized XHTML Structure. In our previous tutorial we share how you can assign H1 Tag to Blog Title on homepage, search pages and Archives, in todays tutorial we will discuss how to correctly optimize Post titles and Static Page titles in blogspot by assigning H1 Tag to a title on Item Page and H2 tags on Index and Archive pages. We will also empower the title Structure with the correct Schema Markup.
I have used the word 'Overused' because rarely do people understand that keeping a logical hierarchy of Headline tags on a HTML DOM is not only SEO friendly but also sensible thing to do. Bloggers today rarely understand that and as a result they often use Multiple H1 tags on a single page or they assign H2 to Post titles on item pages which is a terrible SEO mistake. H2 is overdosed to post tiles on every single Page may it be index, item or archive pages.
For The Record: This tutorial is the first tutorial of its kind shared online which focuses on adding H1 Tag to Post titles and optimizing the Headline tags with Microdata tags
Just like the headlines in a newspaper attract a reader's attention, similarly the Headline tags in a blog article attracts the attention of a search robot. H1 is given the most importance followed by H2, H3 and so on till H6. In web typography we normally use H1,H2 and H3 a lot and it is important that you may optimize the layout of your template such that these tags may be correctly placed on the basis of Importance. To make it worst Post Titles are even Self-Hyperlinked or Self-Linked when Post is viewed. Why would you link a page to the page itself? Makes no logic.
Note: Please first read Part 1 of this tutorial series so that you may understand the default hierarchy for Headline Titles in Blogger

What's The Plan?

Be default Blogger blogs have the following Heading Settings:
Before:
Heading Tag Assigned to
h1 Assigned to Blog Title. Not assigned at all when Logo Image is used
h2 Assigned to Sidebar Titles.
h3 Assigned to Post Titles and Subheadings! Weird!
I called it weird because your Sidebar tiles are given more importance than your Post titles! By default blogger assigns
tag to Post titles on all pages which makes them even less important than the sidebar headlines which have a H2 tag. Fixing this is really important to better rank your titles.
In case where a logo image is used, no H1 tag is used at all! Which means there is almost no presence of
tag on any page of your blog which is really not recommended in SEO.
After:
Heading Tag Assigned to
h1 Assigned To Blog Title only on Index Pages and archives and assigned to Post Title on the Item Page only. This way every page on your blog will have a H1 tag assigned to your most important Title.
h2 Assigned to Post Titles on Index Pages and archives. Assigned to Sidebar Titles on all pages. Due to widget XHTML structure configuration, the sidebar headlines tags can not be edited. H2 is fixed for sidebar Headlines
h3 Assigned to Subheadings only
This way you will assign
tag to Posts titles on Index and Archive Pages
  • Index Pages: These pages are your Homepage and Label Pages
and you will assign
Tag to Post Tiles on Item Pages only
  • Item Pages: These are your Post or Static Pages When viewed
Lets get to work!

Optimizing Post Title Headline Tags

Remember that we are not just optimizing titles, we will also be adding schema microdata tags to better help search bots to recognize the structure of your entire site. This will also help eliminating Data structured errors on your webmaster account.
Follow these sequential steps:
1 Go To Blogger > Template > Backup your template
2 Click Edit HTML
3 Search for this code or its alike
class='post hentry'
Which will be contained inside a div section as shown below

4 Replace it with this

info: The above highlighted parameters are microdata tags that help describe your content.
5 Next find this code or one similar to it:
<b:if cond='data:post.title'>

    <b:if cond='data:post.link'>
      <data:post.title/>
    <b:else/>
      <data:post.title/>
    </b:if>

  </b:if>
or in new blogger templates the code will look like this
<b:if cond='data:post.title'>

<b:if cond='data:post.link or (data:post.url and data:blog.url != data:post.url)'>
<data:post.title/>
<b:else/>
<data:post.title/>
</b:if>

</b:if>
Replace the code you just found with this optimized version of the code
<b:if cond='data:post.title'>
                     <b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "index"'>

     <b:if cond='data:post.link'>
       <data:post.title/>
     <b:else/>
        <b:if cond='data:post.url'>
<data:post.title/>
<b:else/>
          <data:post.title/>
        </b:if>
     </b:if>

                       <b:elseif cond='data:blog.pageType == "archive"'/>

     <b:if cond='data:post.link'>
       <data:post.title/>
     <b:else/>
        <b:if cond='data:post.url'>
<data:post.title/>
<b:else/>
          <data:post.title/>
        </b:if>
     </b:if>

<b:else/>

     <b:if cond='data:post.link'>
       <data:post.title/>
     <b:else/>
        <b:if cond='data:post.url'>
         <data:post.title/>
<b:else/>
          <data:post.title/>
        </b:if>
     </b:if>

</b:if>
                    </b:if>

6 Save your template and you are done!

Customize the Titles!

Since we have changed the tag for post titles therefore you will see a change in your title colors and appearance. You need to style the new tags using the following css code.
Paste the code below just above </b:skin>
.post h2 a,.post h2 a:visited, .post h1{
display:block;
text-decoration:none;
color:#242729;
font-family:arial;
font-size:27px;
line-height:36px}
.post h2 a:hover{
color:#828282;
text-decoration:none}

  • Replace 242729 with Title color
  • Replace 828282 with Title Color when mouse is hovered on it
Save your template and all done!

In this article, we will share 6 better ways to get Facebook Likes Using Blogger site.

Why you need More Facebook Likes?

Facebook is the only leading social networking website. likes to give you a chance to reach a bigger audience and helps you build a community on your website on social media. In reality, it takes a lot of time, patience, and status updates to attract audience. But if you’re really smart then you can always apply better marketing strategies.

1. Facebook Like Box Pop Up:

There are people who are using a non-friendly Lightbox pop ups which end up annoying users, rather than making them to like your page. Which is certainly not the right approach?
We recommend you to use Advance Facebook pop up like box that only appears once. It only appears again to the same user, if he clears his/her cookies and history.

2. Run Contests and Giveaways

Have you ever thought why there are so many giveaways and contests runs around on different Facebook Pages and websites? This is one of the most effective ways to attract real more likes without doing much. Still, you do not need to give away expensive items, people will love to get anything that is for FREE.

In the past, we have already written a post on how to run giveaways on blogger site so do not forget to read that article.

3. Social Sharing Buttons:

Nowadays its must to have social sharing buttons on your site somewhere near your content. This allows your visitors to share your content to their most favorite social networking website.
However, keep in mind you only need to add those social sharing buttons that works not a huge cluster of different social buttons. Because it consumes more resources and cause slowness in your website.

We recommend floating social media bar, that is reliable and consist of only those social sharing buttons that works like Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

4. Embed Like Boxes in Sidebar:

Another clean way to get more likes is to add a Facebook like box in your sidebar. You can make your like box stand out in the sidebar by adding headings just above it or you can give it a complete different touch if you are good at CSS.

You can also embed status posts in blogger that is also an effective way to mention your Facebook page.

5. Social Content Lockers:

This technique may cause annoyance, but it works. You use social content lockers to hide your content and only people who will either share or like your page can get access to it. We do not recommend you to use this on each and every post, use it smartly on a few posts.

6. Interlinking Facebook Page:

Another clean way is to ask your users to like your Facebook page by linking it with some keyword i.e. “Please like our Facebook page”. This technique is followed by a lot of major websites nowadays. This is a simple tip, but the majority of small business owner don’t use it. If you added the link to the right place, it would give your likes a great boost.

0 Pakistani Talented Blogger Khayal Abbas Akhtar interview an Young Entrepreneur

Recently we got a chance to do Interview of one of the best Pakistani blogger Khayal Abbas Akhar. He told us about his blogging journey and secret behind his success. So here is his Interview.

Thanks Khayal Abbas For the Interview. First of all I would like to know that how you will define blogging?

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. khan for giving me this magnificent opportunity to share my personal experience and expertise with the readers of this wonderful blog we have here. What is blogging? What is a blog, confused? If you ask these same questions to 10 different bloggers, I am sure none of them would give you the same definitions or answers because every person has its own point of view to define a blog. For me, Blog is a place full of imagination. It can cover almost any topic no matter whether it is Sports, Entertainment, Technology or even Health issues. A blog is more likely an encyclopedia that is not managed by machines but by humans themselves.

Now from the other people’s perspective, Blog is a kind of website which is arranged in a chronological order from the most recent entries at the top of the homepage to the older entries towards the bottom of the page.
How you came towards blogging tell your story??

Quite interesting question, you got here for me. I was no way near to blogging. Honestly speaking, you cannot believe that I didn't even know the definition of a blog, or about the mighty pets of Google Panda / penguin and whatever zoo animals they carry. Just like every Pakistani guy, I belong to a middle class family where opportunities are extremely less and to be successful you need hand full of bribes to get the 15000 PKR/month job. From childhood I never wanted to work under someone else’s nose, I had my own dreams but I never knew my dreams would start to come true that quickly just like in a glimpse.

A friend of mind told me about blogs, he also told me how it works so due to lack of funds I started a FREE blog over .blogspot.com and unbelievably in 6 months it got more than 10 million hits all together so it was a huge success for a novice. PS: I still have that blog, but unfortunately thanks to Panda and penguin it’s sinking but still giving smallish income.
What tips you would like to give to new bloggers?

First of all, new bloggers really need to learn to at least give some sorts of respect to the senior bloggers. Sometime novice bloggers shows extra aggression and that literally spoils everything. They should focus more towards their blog instead of looking what others are doing.

The most important thing, a new blogger should always start a blog on a topic that he feels he can cover the best. Many people have started a website on totally unrelated topics that didn't work out. Find your abilities and make them count.
